Under the personal management of Owen the bar and lounge provide a homely and friendly atmosphere which must be experienced to be appreciated. Indeed, if you have any association with the surrounding countryside Owen is always freely available to confirm (and add) to a story. Bar food is also available.

For entertainment, music is provided by local groups and occasionally Owen participates with renditions on the bass - the "tea-chest" - giving an excellent presentation of how "skiffle" used to be in the "50's"


Full restaurant facilities are provided in the separate restaurant which has seating for 45.

The menu is very moderately priced with an excellent choice and features some "homemade" foods.
